About the Department<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The department started functioning from the Academic Year 2018-19 onwards by offering M.A.(Education) and Ph.D. programmes, M.Ed., (2020-21). Incorporated all elements of Educational Studies, from knowledge production to the preparation of teachers and teacher educators, to promote the quality education different levels which includes secondary and higher education. Attempts to bridge the gap between the pedagogy and curriculum and between Secondary and higher education institutions.<\/p>\n

Focus is on different areas relating to Curriculum and Pedagogical Studies, Teacher Education, Philosophy of education, Psychology of Education, Sociology of Education, History of Education, department would like to attempt In-service Training programmes for Teachers of all levels, undertaking the research in the area of education, taking into consideration the learners\u2019 perspectives and use of technology in reaching education to all sections of the Society.<\/p>\n
